Grow Guru Horticulture (Pty) Ltd is South Africa’s trusted online distributor of hydroponics equipment and products for the home or commercial grower.
Where are you located?
We’re based in the friendly city at: 70 Pickering Street, Newton Park, Port Elizabeth, 6045.
We service the entire country from this primary location.
What are your trading hours?
Our online store is always open 24/7. Convenient
Our physical store is open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday-Public Holidays 9am-1pm.
How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed through our online store, simply add the items that you would like to purchase to your shopping cart & complete checkout.

How do I pay for my order?
Once satisfied with the items in your cart proceed to checkout where you will provide your Billing details and Delivery address, proceed to complete payment/order, you will be provided with the following payment options
- EFT (electronic funds transfer) Make you EFT payment directly into our bank account, please use your order number as reference, you order won’t be shipped until the funds have cleared in our account.
- Bitcoin – Pay with Bitcoin using bitpay, you will be redirected to bitpay.com to complete your purchase.
- SnapScan – Pay by credit card using SnapScan and your mobile phone.
- Payfast – Pay by credit card using Payfast, you will be redirected to Payfast to complete the payment.
How much does shipping cost?
The cost will depend on the shipping option chosen, the weight and dimensions of your parcel.
To calculate shipping charges, add the items you are interested in to your cart.
Click on the shopping cart icon at the top right corner of your screen and click on checkout.
At this point you will need to provide your billing and delivery details. As soon as you insert you delivery city/town and postal code, the system will then automatically calculate your delivery fees and you should see the cost next to the ‘Courier Delivery’ and ‘Post Office’ options, which you can find just above the total for your order. So this way you can quote yourself using our system, before you are required confirm order and make payment.
How long will it take for my order/parcel to be delivered?
This will depend on the shipping option chosen, and will vary according to your delivery location. Out-lying areas will require more time to be delivered as compared to major city centres.
- Post Office – 3 – 5+ working days (at your own risk)
- Courier – 1 – 3 working days (Recommended)
How do I Track and Trace my order/parcel?
This will depend on the shipping option chosen
- Post Office – download the Post Office mobile app, and insert your tracking number to locate your parcel, this can also be done on the Post Office website www.trackmyparcel.co.za/track/sapo or you can SMS your tracking number to 35277.
- Courier It, track and trace at www.courierit.co.za/trackit
- Courier Guy, track and trace at www.thecourierguy.co.za/tracking

How do I create a Grow Guru account?
Click on the My Account tab on the home page to register,
Alternatively: Once you have completed your online order, proceed to checkout, after your billing details have been captured, you will be requested to create a password, this will save your details as a customer account, on return to the Grow Guru website, customer login will be located at the bottom of the home page.
What if an item I would like to order is out of stock?
Once logged in, add the item to your Wishlist. You will be notified as soon as the product becomes available again.
What if I am unhappy with my order?
Please send us your query by Email with full details once your order is received, we will contact you as soon as possible to rectify any issues. We believe in complete customer satisfaction.
Do you offer discreet packaging?
