The LUMii BLACK 600W Electronic Ballast can reduce the LED Fixture to 400W or 250W, or select the 600W Boost option for maximum light output. It can be placed directly on the fixture or positioned remotely.
The full spectrum light produced by the LUMii BLACK LED 720W 6 Bar Fixture is great for both growth and bloom. Its PPF of 1870 mol/s is higher than that of standard 1000W HPS lamps and approaches that of double-ended 1000W HPS lamps. A: We propose utilizing LUMii Rope Ratchets to hang your fixture adjustably, and setting it at roughly 30-50cm (minimum 15cm) above the canopy, increasing the height as your plants grow. Q: What is the best location for the LUMii BLACK 600W Electronic Ballast to power the LED fixture?
A: You have two choices:
1. Using the brackets and screws provided, attach the ballast to the LED fixture.
2. The ballast can be placed up to 10 meters distant from the LED.
LUMii Extension/ Link Lead is used in this fixture. Option 1 is the simplest and does not require any additional components. During the light / growing phase of the day, however, the heat released by the ballast will tend to contribute to the ambient temperature of the growing environment.
Option 2 necessitates the purchase of LUMii Extension/ Link Leads (see fixture instructions for details), but if the ballast is positioned remotely, heat management of the growing environment is simplified, and the Ballast and LED Fixture can be controlled without entering or disturbing the grow room.
