Who are you?

Grow Guru Online (Pty) Ltd is South Africa’s trusted online distributor of hydroponic equipment and products for the home or commercial grower.

Where are you located?

We have convenient locations around South Afica

  • Our head office is located at 12A 5th Street, Wyberg, Sandton, Johannesburg

We service the entire country from this primary location.

We currently have the following grow shops in other cities:

  • 70 Pickering Street, Newton Park, Port Elizabeth, 6045.
  • 80 Piet Retief Crescent, Sandbaai, Hermanus, 7200

We are rapidly expanding our footprint. Lookout for one of our stores opening up in your area soon.

What are your trading hours?

Our online store is always open 24/7. Convenient!
Our physical stores are open:

  • Monday-Friday 9:00-17:00
  • Saturday- 9:00-12:00

We are closed on Sundays & Public Holidays

How do I place an order?

Orders can be placed through our online store, simply add the items that you would like to purchase to your shopping cart & complete checkout.

How do I play for my order?

Once satisfied with the items in your cart proceed to checkout where you will provide your Billing details and Delivery address, proceed to complete payment/order, you will be provided with the following payment options

EFT (electronic funds transfer) - Make your EFT payment directly into our bank account, please use your order number as reference, you order won’t be shipped until the funds have cleared in our account.

Bitcoin – Pay with Bitcoin using bitpay, you will be redirected to bitpay.com to complete your purchase.

SnapScan – Pay by credit card using SnapScan and your mobile phone.


Payfast – Pay by credit card using Payfast, you will be redirected to Payfast to complete the payment.


How much does shipping cost?

The cost will depend on the shipping option chosen, the weight and dimensions of your parcel.


To calculate shipping charges, add the items you are interested in to your cart.

Can you ship to me outside South Africa?

Yes, we ship to 43 African countries by courier with Fedex & UPS, namely: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo - Brazzaville, Congo - Kinshasa, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

How long will it take for my order/parcel to be delivered?

Delivery times vary according to your location. Out-lying areas will require more time to be delivered as compared to major city centres.

Generally courier delivery takes 1-3 working days.

How do I track and Trace my order/parcel?

How do I create a Grow Guru account?

Click on the Login tab on the home page to register. Alternatively: Once you have completed your online order, proceed to checkout, After your billing details have been captured, you will be requested to create a password, which will save your details as a customer account, on returning to our Grow Guru website, click on Login to enter your credentials

How to download my Tax Invoice?

You can view your order history and download your invoices conveniently from your account page.

A link to your invoice is also always sent in your order confirmation email. Click on the purple link within the email to instantly download your invoice without logging into your profile

What if I am unhappy with my order?

Please send us your query by Email with full details once your order is received. We will contact you as soon as possible to rectify any issues. We believe in complete customer satisfaction and will do whatever we can to assist you.

Do you offer discreet packaging?

We are all about saving the environment, and actively recycle packaging in accordance with our green, eco friendly standards. Kindly leave us an order message if you would like discreet packaging, we will be happy to assist.
