Bioneem from R 120.00
Bioneem is used to control a wide range of insects (up to 200 insect types). The key insecticidal ingredient found in the Neem tree is Azadirachtin, a naturally occurring substance that belongs to an organic molecule class called Tetranortriterpenoids. It blocks the insects production and vital hormones, breaking their life cycle. It is structurally similar to insect hormones called ‘Ecdysones’ which control the process of metamorphosis as the insects pass from larva to pupa to adult. Metamorphosis requires the careful synchrony of many hormones and other physiological changes to be successful, and Azadirachtin is an ‘Ecdysone blocker’. Azadirachtin also serves as a feeding deterrent for some insects. Depending on the stage of life-cycle, insect death may not occur for several days. However, upon ingestion of minute quantities, insects become quiescent and stop feeding. Residual insecticidal activity is evident for up to seven days or longer, depending on insects and application rate. Azadirachtin is relatively harmless to insects that pollinate crops and trees, such as butterflies, spiders and bees; ladybugs that consume aphids; and wasps that act as a parasite on various crop pests. This is because neem products must be ingested to be effective. Thus, insects that feed on plant tissue succumb, while those that feed on nectar or other insects rarely contact significant concentrations of neem products. Neem products are recognized in organic guidelines by IFOAM. Bioneem has been found to be compatible with most commonly used fungicides, insecticides and fertilizers. Physical compatibility should first be checked out. (Read label). Bioneem is an emulsifiable concentrate. Do not apply in temperatures above 30 degrees C. Dosage rates vary between 300ml – 500ml per 100L water, depending on the growth stage of plant and insect pressure. Packaging: 250ml, 500ml and 5L

Copper Soap R 195.00
Copper Soap is a copper fungicide, made by combining a soluble copper fertilizer with a naturally occurring fatty acid. It’s active ingredient is Copper Octanoate Fatty Acid which can control many common diseases using low concentrations. Being an organic product it will decompose to form soluble copper and fatty acid, both of which can be used by microbes and plants. The Copper Soap is great to use on indoor and outdoor vegetation. It is a broad-spectrum Fungicide which will control fungal diseases such as powdery mildew and downy mildew on vegetables, rust on ornamentals, late blight on potatoes and tomatoes and downy mildew on grapes. It can may be mixed with Biotrissol and an insecticide to form a cocktail. Available size: 500ml Getting a full coverage of Copper Soap on your plants would be the best way to use it. If your conditions are wet and humid, you can spray your flowers and vegetation every 7-10 days or every 14 days if under dry conditions. As with most fungicides, it acts to protect plants from infection so for best results with Copper Soap, apply the product to vegetation before infection has set in.

It's main active ingredient is Potassium Phosphate/Potassium Salt from fatty acids that are naturally derived and therefore will not leave a footprint on the environment. The adjuvant in the product increases the spreading ability and efficacy of the Potassium Salts. Only needs to re-applied every 14 days if infestation of pests is low.
Phyta - Plant Tonic / Foliar Feed R 99.00
Phyta is a dual purpose nutrient supplying macro elements Potassium and Phosphorous as well as Zinc and Copper. The phosphorous is in the phosphite form, which is highly systemic throughout the plant. Phyta is chelated with organic acids. This formulation stimulates active healthy growth in a range of crops to maximise their resistance to a range of diseases including downy and powdery mildew, botrytis, phytopthora and pythium. Available size: 250ml Function: Phosphorous is essential to all plants for optimum yields. Base phosphatic fertilisers often fail to supply the crop with sufficient phosphorous. Factors such as soil type, soil moisture and soil pH can interrupt the supply of P to the crop, especially at critical periods during the development phase. Conventional phosphate products will be mobilised in the plant through the xylem. Omex Phyta will however translocate P through the phloem and the xylem and thereby supplying essential phosphorous to the root zone and crop canopy. Description: Fully water soluble phosphorous source. Analysis of Omex Phyta: Directions for use: The spray tank should be filled with half of the required amount of water. After shaking the container, measure the required amount of Omex Phyta and add to the tank whilst maintaining constant agitation. Add remaining water to correct dilution. Spray. Dilution: Recommended water rate is 500 – 1500 litres per hectare. Always shake the container before opening it. Observed benefits from applying Phyta: Improved plant nutrient health and diseases resistance Improved rooting action. Increased fruit set. Higher solids content. Increased yield. Post-harvest quality enhancements. Improved foliar uptake of cations (i.e. K, Ca, Mg, Mn) Potassium Phosphite and Zinc, Copper Fungicidal activity against Phytophthora, Pythium, Mildews, Brown Rot. Enhancement of the plant’s natural defence mechanisms. Recommendations for use: Fruit, Vegetables and Ornamentals: Apply 200-500mℓ / 100ℓ water. Home and Garden: 50 ml / 10 l water Tank Mixing Compatibility: Omex Phyta is compatible with most, but not all, pesticides, growth regulators and micro-nutrients with regards to physical tank mixing and biological effects on the crop. However, Omex cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage as not all pesticides have been tested and because of efficacy of any mix will depend upon, among other factors, the pesticide concerned, crop conditions, growth stage, weather, and volumes of water used. Precautions: Omex Phyta should be stored in frost free conditions with optimum storage range between 5-40˚C. Omex Phyta is a non-hazardous and non-flammable foliar fertiliser. Gloves and face shield should be worn when handling the concentrate.

Prev-Am Bio-Pesticide R 85.00
Prev-Am is a 3 in 1 Insecterside, fungicide, and miticide. Prev-Am is a fast-acting, broad-spectrum contact pesticide with no resistance build-up. Proven to control a wide range of insects, mites, and fungi. This is a powerful pesticide that can be mixed with other pesticides as part of your resistance management programs. Low impact on beneficial insects. Easily biodegradable. No withholding period. This is a 3 in 1 crop-friendly pesticide that can be used throughout the season and to treat sudden outbreaks, population explosion, and as a preharvest clean-up spray. Prev-Am delivers control that you can count on. Prev-Am used as an insecticide or miticide: Insects and mites are protected by a water repellent layer that loses its effectiveness when coming into contact with Prev-Am. This allows for the active ingredient to penetrate and destroy the soft living tissue underneath. Insects and mites are then exposed to the loss of body fluids resulting in death. Flying insects experience loss of protective covering and tension in the wings making them unable to fly. Prev-Am used as a fungicide: Prev-Am wets the protective membranes of the superficial fungal mycelia and mildew spores allowing the active ingredient to eliminate and destroy the living tissues underneath. This exposes the organism to the drying effect of the atmosphere and causes the collapse within 2 to 24 hours. Plant tissue damaged by the fungus may also dry out and prevent further spreading of the infection. At the recommended application rate health tissue will not get affected.
