TerpLoc grove bags active humidity control.

TerpLoc™ creates the optimal microclimate for storing cannabis by regulating the relative humidity in the packaging while protecting your product from exterior elements that would degrade its quality while keeping your product stored. TerpLoc™ is designed around the plant to provide peace of mind & terpene preservation.

  • 1 g: 5 x 8.5 cm
  • 3.5 g: 9.5 x 8.4 cm

How does TerpLoc™ UV Work?

Anti-static Windowed terploc pouches have added UV blockers to keep out harmful rays that break down your cannabis and diminish its quality. These are designed with a viewing window for displaying the variety of strains you may have on hand. Terploc™ UV pouches are engineered to withstand extreme levels of UV rays in order to preserve the highest levels of cannabinoids and terpenes. Put your product on display and be confident that it will stay in the shade.

Once your product is sealed inside the TerpLoc Ultraclear bag, all unwanted gases and water vapour are actively diffused through the pouch’s layers. The layers create a relative humidity level of 62% and limit the oxidation of the product stored inside. A perfect cannabis climate where plants' unique properties are preserved.

The product is sealed creating relative humidity to limit the oxidation of the product stored inside.

How to use in the cannabis industry?

Drying

We recommend a 10-14 day dry → 10 days for looser buds and 14 for larger/dense buds.

The dry room should be 60oF and 60% RH. There should be even air circulation without having direct airflow on drying buds or towards a wall.

After the initial hang, buck the buds and place them into paper bags in order to sweat out all of the inner moisture to the surface. Once you complete the sweating process, you can begin to cure.

We understand there are many different climates, and that cultivators have developed their own proprietary drying techniques. For Grove Bags to work, the cannabis should be dried to at least a .45w water activity level or below to be confident that there should be no worry of microbial growth.

Curing

Now that your cannabis is properly dry, you can place it in a Grove Bag. The packaging will work to create the perfect microclimate to cure your cannabis. Do not overfill the bags or pouches.

The package will bring the internal environment into the 58-62% RH range and also outgas all excess oxygen to reduce oxidation while curing.

Sealing

All Grove Bags films have a sealing temp between 230*F and 285*F, and can be sealed with an impulse sealer, hair straightener, or household iron.

Storing

Store your Grove Bags in a cool, dark room, preferably around 60oF. Cannabis respiration doubles with every 17oF higher that it is stored in which increases the risk of moisture-related weight loss.
