Dutch Bucket Drip Irrigation Hydroponic Systems
With our Dutch Bucket Drip Irrigation Hydroponic Systems the expansion possibilities are endless.
An efficient drip irrigation system and is suitable for larger, long-term crops such as vine tomatoes, peppers (capsicum), cucumbers, roses and many other flowers. You can use just about any type of growing media, including Expanded Clay Pebbles, Perlite, and Coco Peat.
The DIY system assembles in minutes, and can be used in many styles and applications to suit the growers individual requirements or crop.
Designed to be fed by drip emitters and plumbed to drain using a common 1.5″ PVC pipe while siphon elbows regulate a safety reservoir of nutrient solution at bottom of bucket to 2.5cm deep. This feature prevents growing medium from drying out and causing water stress between irrigation cycles. The siphon elbow also prevents over accumulation of nutrient solution.
Simply connect your buckets and siphon elbow (included), to standard 1-1/2 inch (3.8cm) drain pipe. The water will flow back to reservoir to be recirculated through the drip system repetitively using a water pump in your reservoir
