Hydroponic Systems
Hydroponic Systems for hydroponic gardeners that are ready to grow any type of plants!
What is hydroponics?
Hydroponics is a method of growing plants in a soilless solution. The soilless solution does not necessarily need to be water; hydroponics can be any nutrient solution or inert growing media, such as sand or perlite.
Strange types of hydroponic systems
There are six types of hydroponic systems for growing plants, namely; Wicking systems, Water Culture systems, Ebb and flow systems, N.F.T systems( Nutrient film Technique) and Aeroponic systems. Plant's roots primarily only need three things; water/moisture, nutrients and oxygen. What makes the six types of hydroponic systems different are how they deliver these three things to the plant's roots; in other words, how the system works. You will want to design a system that is able to accommodate the plant's needs from seedling to full size. Make sure you choose a system that is most beneficial for the plant you are growing.
Where can I grow hydroponically?
You can grow hydroponically indoors or outdoors! Hydroponics will work anywhere with sufficient artificial or natural light.
Choose a system, decide on a growing media, select nutrients & grab pH & EC test pens/monitors
