Magnesium Sulphate
Magnesium Sulphate, commonly knows as Epson Salts, is absorbed through the leaves and roots of plants to help promote the production of chlorophyll. Magnesium sulfate encourages blooming.
Magnesium and sulfate are the two major components and is a critical mineral for the germination of seeds. Magnesium sulfate is vital for the production of chlorophyll, which plants use to transform sunlight into food and helps with the absorption of phosphorus and nitrogen, which are two of the essential fertilizer components.
Sulfur contributes to chlorophyll production and makes the primary nutrients in most fertilizers more effective.
For a magnesium sulfate deficiency, you can apply Epson salts as a foiler feed or by drenching the root zone.
To relieve magnesium deficiency:
Application for foiler feed,
Mix 1tsp of magnesium sulfate in 2L of water and spray/foiler feed plants when lights go off and repeat every three days until you are happy the deficiency has improved. When drenching the root zone, you will mix the magnesium sulfate 1tsp into 5L of water and apply once during the growth/vegetative stage and then twice during the flowering stage.
